The Keurig K-Slim Is My Home Office Hero, and It’s Almost 50% Off on Prime Day

Prime Day 2025 runs from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price tracking tools.

I’ve always loved working from home — I was one of the pioneers of the shirt-and-shorts video conferencing movement. There’s one downside, though: My office is on the third floor, and my kitchen is on the ground floor. That meant making coffee during the day was a chore. So I started looking for a solution and found a Keurig K-Slim Single Serve coffee maker to put in my office. It’s small enough to fit on my desk, makes really good coffee, and is currently almost 50% off as part of Prime Day.

Like all Keurig machines, it uses the brand’s K-Cup capsules (I use reusable capsules because I don’t want to see a bunch of used ones in the trash every day). It holds 1.48 ounces of water, so one refill makes six regular cups of coffee (or four 12-ounce cups). That means I can magically brew a cup of coffee at any time during the day. And in my opinion, the K-Slim makes great coffee. The company says this is thanks to “multistream” technology, which uses multiple streams of water to soak the coffee grounds in the capsule, and I’m inclined to agree.

The K-Slim is easy to maintain. Like any other Keurig coffee machine, it needs to be descaled every few months, and the water reservoir and drip tray are removable and dishwasher safe as needed. If you’re looking for a quick way to brew coffee for yourself and you’re short on space, the K-Slim makes great coffee and takes up about the same amount of space as a family box of cereal. At nearly 50% off the regular price, it’s a great investment in your future focus and productivity.
