If you’re an Android fan who’s been waiting for a great deal on a smartwatch, you might want to check this one out. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (44mm, LTE) is currently on sale for just $246.99 as part of Prime Day, down from its usual $379.99. And according to price tracker , that’s the lowest price ever. But the big deal here is that it’s an LTE version: You can leave your phone at home and take calls, listen to music, or reply to messages right from your wrist. For Android users, especially if you’re already part of the Samsung ecosystem, that’s a huge perk.
Functionally, this watch is made for people who lead active lifestyles. An IP68 rating, 5 ATM water resistance, and military-grade durability mean this isn’t just a device for wearing to the office. The Galaxy Watch 7’s 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display is bright and easy to read, even in direct sunlight, and under the hood, Samsung’s new Exynos W1000 chip makes navigation smooth. On the software side, it runs Wear OS 5 with Samsung’s One UI 6 skin on top, so you get useful extras like widget management and photo editing on the watch if you’re paired with a Samsung phone. The health tracking features are where this watch really shines, with features like FDA-approved sleep apnea detection , body composition analysis, a new AI-powered Energy Score, and of course the usual array of heart rate, blood oxygen, ECG, and automatic workout tracking, according to this PCMag review .
But there are some caveats: Many of the advanced features, like snore detection and a detailed health report, require pairing with a Samsung phone. And while the LTE freedom is great, battery life suffers. Expect the watch to last a full day, maybe a little longer, but be sure to charge it at night. Still, at $250, it’s one of the most feature-rich smartwatches in its class, especially if you’re already an Android user and looking for a stylish device that can handle heavy use.
