New to Prime Day? We’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know . Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
This Prime Day, we’re finally seeing earbuds from big-name brands finally move to a more affordable price point, including the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro , which are now $166.24, down from $249.99 (their lowest price to date, according to price trackers ). That’s still not what most would call cheap, but the drop makes them a lot easier to consider, especially if you’re already a member of the Galaxy squad. Like other Prime Day deals , this one is only available to Amazon Prime members, though a 30-day free trial lets you take advantage of it if you’re just looking to save money.
In terms of design, the Buds 3 Pro are a bit different from previous Samsung models. They have angular stems, customizable LED indicators, and an overall design that feels closer to the AirPods than before. Inside is a 10.5mm dynamic driver paired with a 6.1mm planar driver, which helps the earbuds deliver surprisingly rich, wide-range sound. However, reviewers have noted that turning on active noise cancellation can soften the highs a bit, so it’s worth exploring the equalizer if you care about detail. For Samsung phone users, you also get Seamless Codec support for 24-bit audio, but no one outside the Samsung ecosystem will benefit from this feature. There’s also no LDAC support, which may disappoint some Android audiophiles.
These high-end earbuds come with a ton of smart features when paired with a compatible device. Galaxy owners get automatic pairing, full EQ control, and access to useful extras like a translator mode for real-time translations. Non-Samsung Android users still get access to most of the basic features through the Wear app, albeit with some limitations. Unfortunately, iPhone users don’t get any app support, meaning there’s no customization or advanced controls — just basic Bluetooth audio. On the plus side, the Buds 3 Pro are IP57 rated, so they’ll withstand sweat, workouts, and even rain without a problem.
