I’m a Marathon Runner and My Favorite Walking Mat Is 34% Off on Prime Day

Prime Day 2025 runs from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price tracking tools.

New to Prime Day? We’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know . Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.

The Merach W50 pedal mat , which normally costs $499.99, is now on sale for $329.99, making it a much more durable option for such a durable treadmill. As I mentioned in my review , the Merach has the strength of a treadmill. However, that strength comes at the cost of ease of storage.

As someone who has run thousands of miles in training for marathons while working from home, I know how important it is to actively recover throughout the day. Weather, safety concerns, or simply a lack of time can make outdoor recovery runs challenging—that’s where the Merach W50 shines. Here’s what sets it apart:

What do you think at the moment?

  • Treadmill-Like Incline : The 12% automatic incline feature is by far the most noticeable aspect. Most treadmills have little or no incline, but the W50’s steep incline allows you to train uphill. Given the popularity of walking-based workouts, this high incline is a big plus. I personally use this feature for active, recovery walks uphill and to strengthen my calves without the impact of running.

  • Impressive weight capacity : I appreciate that this walking mat can handle some serious weight. The sturdy construction ensures stability even when walking fast or when transitioning between different incline levels.

  • Surprisingly quiet operation : Living in an apartment, noise is always a major concern. The W50 is quiet enough that I can use it for morning walks without disturbing the neighbors. The motor runs smoothly even on steep inclines, which is not always the case with budget walkers.

While I’m a fan of the W50, it’s not for everyone. The main limitation is its non-folding design. Unlike compact walkers that can be tucked under a bed or in a closet, the W50 requires its own dedicated floor space. If you have the space and are serious about incorporating walking into your life, the Merach W50 at this Prime Day price is a great deal.
