The Soundcore 2 has been around for a while now and is still a basic speaker that you can take anywhere. It’s small enough to slip into a backpack and offers 24 hours of battery life, though that really depends on how loud you play it. That said, it’ll last you a full day at the beach, in the park, or playing a few podcasts while you do chores around the house. It’s also IPX7 waterproof , so if it gets splashed or dropped in the sink, you’ll likely be fine.

That said, it won’t blow your mind in the sound department. There’s a distinct dip in the bass, and it doesn’t get very loud, so don’t expect it to rock your next house party.
