This Has Been My Favorite Keyboard for Years and It’s 20% Off for Prime Day

Prime Day 2025 runs from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price tracking tools.

I’ve been using Logitech MX Keys keyboards for years, ever since they first came out in 2019. I love this keyboard. It has a low profile, awesome customization software, and easy pairing with multiple devices. And right now, the MX Keys Mini (the one without the number pad) is on sale for $80, its lowest price ever.

The flat chiclet-style keys are very smooth and comfortable, and flat enough that you can put this keyboard in a laptop bag without worrying about damage. Flat keys aren’t necessarily for everyone, but if you’re like me and like them for work, these are some of the best I’ve felt outside of a super-expensive laptop.

Logitech Options+ software makes Logitech MX Keys even more productive. For a long time, I exclusively used gaming peripherals to get work done , in part because only gaming devices had customization tools that let me create my own shortcuts and macros. Options+ brings that power to everyone: You can use it to assign shortcuts to any keys you like ( maybe make the CapsLock key more useful? ) and create custom macros to perform complex but repetitive tasks.

The MX Keys Mini also connects easily to multiple devices using Logitech’s excellent wireless kit. It supports three device profiles, so you can switch between typing on your desktop, laptop, or tablet with the touch of a button. If you frequently move between workstations, this can save you a lot of time.

What do you think at the moment?

I can also attest to their durability, as I’ve used these keyboards for as long as I can remember. I’ve used the Mini’s big brother, the MX Keys S, every day since it came out in 2023 and haven’t noticed any noticeable degradation or failure. It works almost as well as when I first got it, although now that I’ve looked at it more closely, it may need a little cleaning .
