Prime Day 2025 is here, and there are already some great deals on Amazon devices and general tech . If you’re looking to shop on a smaller budget, I’ve shared Prime Day deals on tech for under $25 . If your budget is a little higher, here are the best tech deals under $50.
CCTV cameras
I’ve been looking for the best solar camera for the money that also doesn’t require a subscription since my house was broken into. For me, that camera was the Aosu Solar Camera , and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-setup, subscription-free, reliable 360-degree solar camera. You can get it for $55.99 (originally $79.99), an impressive value for the money.
The video doorbell I chose for my front door is the Reolink Video Doorbell . It also doesn’t require a subscription, and you can choose between a Wi-Fi version and a wired version . Right now, you can get one of the best video doorbells of 2025 for $76.99 (originally $109.99).
Smart lock
When it comes to smart locks, I’ve tried them all for my home and Airbnb. I can’t recommend the SwitchBot Lock Pro enough, as you can read in my review . It’s reliable, simple, and comes with a lot of useful features. It’s also extremely renter-friendly, so you can easily install it with minimal effort. Don’t let the discount fool you — it’s over 50% off, as the package usually costs $199.99, but you can get it for just $89.99 .
Smart Thermostat
I also use the Google Nest Thermostat for my home. It’s amazing how much a beautiful thermostat can improve the aesthetics of your home. You can control your HVAC remotely with the Google app, set routines, and save on your energy bills for just $89.99 (originally $129.99).
Streaming stick
Another great Google product that I recommend is the Google TV Streamer 4K , which is currently only $84 (originally $99.99). I’ve been using it since the first generation came out. I like it because it allows me to easily stream my phone to any TV or projector (both Android and iOS). This particular model is compatible with 4K resolution.
If you’re looking for a Roku replacement, your best bet is the $69 Roku Ultra (originally $99.99), which is currently on sale.
Tablet
If you’re looking for a budget tablet under $100, look no further than the Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet , which is currently just $69.99 (originally $139.99). Any other tablet is likely to be a flop, but the Fire HD 10 has been a solid budget option since its release in 2023.
Speaker
I’m surprised the Bose SoundLink Flex 2nd generation is selling for $99 (originally $149). This outdoor speaker has been a classic, high-performance portable option since its release in 2024. Take advantage of it.
Headphones
The cheapest AirPods without active noise cancellation (ANC) are just $89 (originally $129) after an all-time low. This is the 4th generation with the H2 chip and a 30-hour battery. You can also get the ANC version for an all-time low.
If you prefer over-ear headphones, the Beats Solo 4 are just $97.99 (originally $199.95), an all-time low. These headphones are the fourth generation of the Beats Solo series and feature improvements in sound quality, voice-call performance, feature set, and battery life, according to a CNET review .
Tracker
Never lose your wallet or luggage again. If you’re an Apple user and don’t have AirTags yet, now’s the time to pull the trigger, as a 4-pack is now $64.99 (originally $99).
Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot are running Prime Day sales that are especially helpful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.
-
Walmart’s Prime Day sale starts at midnight on July 8 and includes discounts of up to 50% . It’s an especially good option if you have Walmart+.
-
Best Buy’s Prime Day sale , “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13, and offers some of the best tech sales online . It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.
-
Home Depot has extended its July 4 sale through at least July 9, competing with some of its own great deals . It’s a particularly good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor gear.
