New to Prime Day? We’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know . Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of my Peloton , even five years after the quarantine-induced boom the at-home fitness giant experienced. It’s also no secret that these machines cost a lot of money: A standard Peloton Bike retails for $1,445. I’m usually an advocate of buying used or hunting for local sales , but right now, thanks to Prime Day, you can buy a new one on Amazon for a little less. The Peloton Bike is just $1,083, and the company’s other devices are also on sale.
Peloton’s Big Deals
Here are the Peloton devices that are currently on sale:
-
Peloton bike costs $1,083.75 instead of $1,445
-
Peloton Bike+ is $1,994.99 instead of $2,495.
-
Peloton Row is $2,964.99 instead of $3,295.
-
Peloton Tread Price Now $2,694.99 Up From $2,995
Yes, with all four you’re still paying at least four figures, but unlike other discount options you might typically have — like a floor model from Dick’s Sporting Goods or a used unit — these are actually new. Saving a few hundred dollars while upgrading your fitness program is a bargain.
Why I Love Peloton
Right now, I’m on a 113-day streak of actively using my Peloton bike and app . I love being able to hop on my bike (or Bike+, which I tested for review and also love) at the beginning or end of my day for a good workout or use the app to access exercises like guided walks , meditations , stretches, and more.
If you’re going to buy any kind of equipment, I recommend going with a classic bike. With it, you can choose from thousands of on-demand cycling classes, play fun cardio games , and even watch YouTube videos . Building a home fitness routine is hard , but having access to Peloton has made it a lot easier for me. I have no excuse not to exercise, even on days I don’t feel like it, because I have a machine that can help me burn some calories and build endurance right in my living room. Mine is over four years old and still works great, so the longevity of these things is pretty amazing, not to mention new classes are released every day so the novelty doesn’t wear off, either.
