New to Prime Day? We’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know . Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
DeWalt cordless tools have been known for their quality since the first line was released in 1994, and I’ve been using their gear for almost as long. Their batteries have become known for their power, and the new 20-volt cordless system is lightweight, charges quickly, and runs for hours on most jobs without needing to be recharged. I find the lightweight batteries and handle design to be more comfortable to use than others, especially if you plan to spend a lot of time in your home workshop. Here are some great Prime Day deals on DeWalt cordless tools and accessories to help you build a new DIY toolbox or add to your existing toolbox.
Combination sets
The DeWalt 20-Volt 5-Tool Kit is a great deal if you’re putting together a new DIY tool kit because it comes with a variety of tools and batteries. It’s priced at $399, 38% off the regular price. The kit includes a drill, driver, oscillating multi-tool, 6 ½-inch circular saw, reciprocating saw, one 20-volt 2-amp-hour battery, one 20-volt 4-amp-hour battery, charger, and tool bag. It has everything you need to get started right out of the box.
The DeWalt 20-Volt Cordless 3-Tool Kit is on sale for 45% off at $149. The kit includes a 20-volt drill and impact driver, a 20-volt work light, two 2-amp-hour batteries, a charger, and a tool bag. This is a great deal for the price, as batteries and a charger can cost between $100 and $200 individually, so getting two batteries with three tools is a great starter kit at a great price.
The DeWalt 20V Cordless Drill and Driver Kit comes with a 20V drill and driver, along with two 2Ah 20V batteries, a charger, and a tool bag. This kit retails for $129, 50% off the regular price. The DeWalt drill and driver kit is a good beginner kit because it comes with the batteries you’ll need to run both tools at once or to keep a fresh battery on the charger for replacement, and a quality drill and driver are the cornerstone of any DIY tool kit, allowing you to drive screws and bolts as well as drill holes.
Cutting and Trimming Tools
The DeWalt 20V Oscillating Multi-Tool is the powerhouse of the DeWalt cordless tool system. In addition to cutting a variety of materials, including wood, PVC, drywall, and metal, this tool can transform into a sander with the power to get into hard-to-reach areas for finishing, and it can also be used as a polishing tool. It retails for $119, 61% off the regular price. The kit includes a 2-amp-hour battery and charger, as well as a sanding adapter, 25 sheets of sandpaper, a depth gauge for making plunge cuts at a specific depth, a wood blade and a wood and nail blade, a case for your accessories, and a tool bag. I love my oscillating multi-tool, and if you invest in one, it can quickly become the hardest-working tool in your kit.
The DeWalt 20-volt, 7 ¼-inch circular saw is on sale for $139, 50 percent off its regular price. This tool doesn’t come with batteries or a charger, so it’s only a good buy if you’re already using a DeWalt system and want to expand it. The circular saw is great for making straight cuts, especially in larger boards, and will give you a cleaner cut than an oscillating multi-tool or sawzall blade.

The DeWalt 20-Volt 5-Inch Cordless Orbital Sander is on sale for $149, 40% off the regular price. This tool comes with a 2-amp-hour battery and charger, so it’s ready to go right out of the box. The orbital sander lets you finish woodworking projects and smooth out drywall patches yourself faster than hand sanding.
The DeWalt 20-volt cordless angle grinder will help you finish projects by letting you grind hardware that sticks out the back of your work, as well as cut and polish metal parts. It’s on sale for $140, 44% off the regular price, and it’s a tool-only deal, so you’ll need a DeWalt 20-volt battery pack to use it.
The DeWalt 20V Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum is a compact shop vac that can be used to suck up dust from saws and sanders, as well as for cleaning around the shop. It has the added feature of being able to run on a cord or as a cordless tool if you’re away from a power source. It’s on sale for $119, 38% off its regular price. While this tool doesn’t come with a battery and charger, you can plug it in to use it, so you’re not exactly out of luck if you don’t already have a DeWalt 20V Cordless System.
Bits and blades
DeWalt makes quality cordless tools, and their screwdrivers are my favorite because they don’t break as often as some other brands, and their magnetic bit extender is handy for using multiple types of bits in one tool.
There are two DeWalt bit sets on sale for Prime Day that are worth picking up if you plan on drilling and driving fasteners. The 14-piece magnetic bit set is on sale for $8.82, 61% off the regular price, is a favorite at stores, and comes with two magnetic bit holders and 12 bit tips. The 35-piece impact bit set from DeWalt comes with a magnetic bit holder and an impact driver adapter, as well as a variety of bits and sockets. It’s on sale for $24.99, 41% off the regular price.
The DeWalt 12-Pack Reciprocating Saw Blade Kit is on sale for $22.99, 59% off the regular price. The kit includes a combination blade, a set of five metal blades, six wood blades, and a carrying case. These blades will fit most standard reciprocating saws.
