Target’s Circle Week Sale “Coincidentally” Coincides With Prime Day
Target is the latest major retailer to officially announce its 2025 anti-Prime Day sale . As expected, the company has scheduled its next Circle Week event to coincide with this year’s massive Prime Day . Here’s everything you need to know about the sale and the deals you can expect.
What is Target Circle Week?
Circle Week is the name of Target’s biggest sale. As the name suggests, it lasts an entire week. It used to happen once a year, but much to the dismay of Target employees , it now happens several times a year. The last sale was in the spring , around the time of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.
When is Circle Week?
The next Circle Week will run from July 6 to July 12, which means it will start two days before Prime Day and end one day after Prime Day.
Do you need to be a member to shop sales during Target Circle Week?
Like the Amazon Prime Day sale, you’ll need to be a Circle member to participate in the sale, but unlike a Prime membership, Target Circle is free. You can sign up for an account in the Target app or on Target.com .
You can also pay for a Target Circle 360 membership, which will give you early access to the sale, as well as other perks like same-day shipping. If you’re a teacher or student, you can save 50% on a yearly subscription to Circle 360 through September 13; otherwise, it starts at $10.99 per month. But again, a paid membership isn’t necessary to get all of Circle Week’s best deals.
What deals can I find during Target Circle Week?
Circle Week will focus on school supplies and college essentials like classroom supplies, dorm decor, and fashionable apparel, but you’ll also find tech items on sale. You can shop in person or online, and there will be a Deal of the Day for each day of the event.

Amazon’s Prime Day runs from July 8 to July 11, so all other sales tend to be around those dates. Walmart runs its Walmart Deals sale from July 8 to July 13, and Best Buy’s Black Friday in July sale runs from July 7 to July 13.
