They won’t win any awards for sophistication, but if you like bass that’s deep enough to make your molars vibrate, these are the headphones for you. The main draw here is the adjustable haptic bass slider, which literally rocks your head on higher settings. Sure, you can turn it down, but even at the lowest setting, you get a sound that leans heavily toward low-end power. That makes them especially fun for EDM, hip-hop, and action-packed gaming or movies. (For more on over-ear headphone options , check out this review.)

They’re not for everyone, though. The Crusher Evo doesn’t offer active noise cancellation , so you’ll still hear a bit of the world around you — commuters coughing, dogs barking, etc. The passive isolation helps a little, but it’s not the same. If you’re hoping for a more immersive or quiet experience, especially when traveling, these might not be the ones for you. The soundstage also feels a bit closed off, so things don’t quite feel like surround sound. That said, the mids are decently clear, vocals stay in the mix well, and the built-in mic and tile tracking are nice bonuses. Battery life is also great — reportedly around 30+ hours in real-world use — and they charge via USB-C.

What do you think at the moment?

In terms of design, they look pretty standard, which is no bad thing. The matte plastic body is sturdy, with soft padding on the headband and ear cups, which helps them stay comfortable during long listening sessions. They fold flat and come with a carrying case, though it won’t protect them from drops. The built-in buttons are easy to use, and there are no touchscreen gimmicks to deal with. Just keep in mind that there’s no customizable EQ beyond the presets in the Skullcandy app, and the default sound setting leans heavily on the bass. If that’s okay with you, the Crusher Evo are fun and very battery-efficient. At this price, they’re a solid choice for bass lovers who don’t care about noise cancellation but want their headphones to have some presence .
