How to Watch WWDC 2025

WWDC may technically be a developer conference, but the rest of us non-developers still attend. That’s because Apple doesn’t just share updates that matter to software makers, but big OS changes that anyone with an Apple device can appreciate.
WWDC 2025 is just around the corner . There, Apple will likely announce the latest iOS, iPadOS, and macOS updates and more, and will likely reveal some new details about Apple Intelligence. If you’re interested in keeping up with the latest Apple news, here’s how to watch.
How to watch WWDC 2025
Apple’s WWDC 2025 event kicks off on June 9. While WWDC technically spans the entire week, most of us care about the first day. That’s when Apple delivers its keynote address, which contains the vast majority of the WWDC news you’d expect to hear. As is often the case, the rest of the week is actually comprised of developer events and news. Go figure.
Apple’s big event kicks off at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Monday, June 9. While the event has previously been held in person, Apple has stuck to pre-recorded announcements since COVID. This works to deliver news and demo features without the worry of something going wrong during a live demo, but it also means you need to take what’s announced with a grain of salt. Last year, Apple announced a number of AI-powered Siri features that were supposedly coming to iOS 18, but those features turned out to be in the prototype stage. (They still haven’t launched.) While you should expect most of the features for “iOS 26” to actually arrive with the new update, don’t be surprised if a few don’t make the list.
If you weren’t invited to Cupertino to watch the pre-recorded event from the Steve Jobs Theater, you can still watch it from the comfort of your home — or anywhere you have an internet connection. Apple will be streaming from its website , as well as its official YouTube channel . The YouTube video is already available if you want to queue it up before the presentation:
