These Beats Fit Pro Headphones Are Now Half Their Original Price

There’s no shortage of wireless earbuds on the market, but if you want powerful noise cancellation, bass-rich sound, full iOS compatibility, and a fit that won’t budge during your workout, you’ll want to consider the Beats Fit Pro, and this open-box deal on StackSocial drops the price to $99.99 from the usual $199.99. The sale includes all four color options — white, black, gray, and purple.
The “open box” tag simply means they’ve likely been handled but not used, and have been checked to make sure they’re still in new condition. They’re IPX4 rated for water resistance, so sweat and light rain aren’t a problem, though the case itself isn’t waterproof and doesn’t support wireless charging. Battery life is about six hours with ANC on, and another 18 to 23 hours without the case, depending on how you use them.
As for sound, they lean heavily on the bass, which some will like and others may find too much. The lows are especially good at high volumes without distortion, making them great for hip-hop, pop, or EDM, this PCMag review notes. The downside is the lack of a customizable EQ, so if you don’t like that sculpted sound, there’s nothing you can do about it. Noise cancellation does a pretty good job of blocking out things like airplane hum and low-frequency distractions, but don’t expect complete silence in a noisy cafe (high-pitched sounds still leak through). There’s also a decent Transparency mode that lets in enough outside sound that you can cross the street or have a conversation with someone without having to take an earbud out. Android users get access to most of the core features through the Beats app, but some perks like automatic switching, hands-free Siri, and Spatial Audio are still exclusive to iOS. Getting all this for half the price is not a bad deal.
