The ULT Field 3 is a bass-heavy portable speaker for those who value long battery life and portability, as you can read about in Mashable’s review . It features a seven-band equalizer, a real subwoofer (surprising given its portable size), an ULT mode that boosts the base, an IP67 rating (waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, and rustproof), and the ability to connect to other speakers via Party Connect.

With ULT Power enabled, you can expect 24 hours of battery life, making this speaker competitive in its market. However, if you listen to it at full volume, the battery will drain much faster, giving you a maximum of five hours. A quick 10-minute charge will give you 120 minutes of playtime, which is significant for a portable speaker.

According to Mashable, this speaker is designed for parties, outdoor use, or large work spaces. It comes with a shoulder strap that you can attach to the speaker to sling it over your shoulder, making it even more portable. It uses the Sound Connect app, so people who are part of the Sony ecosystem will be able to get the most out of it. You can see battery life, control the equalizer, connect to other Sony devices, and use the DJ Control feature, which lets you add scratch and air beep sounds to your music.

What do you think at the moment?

If you’re looking for a rugged portable speaker with powerful bass at a great price, consider the ULT Field 3.
