This Site Can Turn Your Browser Into a Wall of TVs

You know how in the old TV shows the important people have a wall of TVs so they can keep up with everything that’s going on in the world? This is an absurd concept and completely impractical. This is also something you can do.
TV Wall is a free website that shows nine random TV news stations from around the world. This can be useful during an election or other international event unfolding, allowing you to see how news organizations in different countries are covering events. But I’m not going to pretend that it’s a practical tool. Mostly it’s just something fun to play with.
Visit the site and you’ll be presented with nine channels arranged in a three-by-three grid. The panel on the left allows you to adjust the grid size if you wish, as well as disable the weird matrix cropping around all TVs. The Shuffle button allows you to browse through all the new channels. You can also scroll down the left sidebar to filter channels by language or country.
Scroll further down and you’ll find a mute feature that will unmute any channel currently under your mouse cursor—making it easy to quickly monitor what’s being said across all channels. Or, if you want to be more passive, you can set the audio to randomly switch from channel to channel.
You can also change channels manually—just hover over a video to see the top bar. You can use the drop-down list to select a specific channel. You can also turn on the sound or expand the current channel to full screen.
The actual channels offered are all those that you can legally stream online if you choose. These include the BBC, Bloomberg, Australia’s ABC and a number of US network television channels. This site offers the ability to monitor several of these channels simultaneously.
I was amazed at how easy it had become to watch TV shows online for free. If you’re looking for similar sites, I recommend checking out our list of TV channels you can stream for free , or our review of retro TV sites . You will never be bored again.
