My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: Galaxy S25 Edge Pre-Orders

Samsung announced the new Galaxy S25 series back in January , and later that month introduced a fourth, thinner phone , the Galaxy S25 Edge. It was only last week that we finally learned more about the new device, which Samsung calls “the thinnest Galaxy S series ever.”
Intrigued? You can pre-order it now, with Samsung and Amazon offering deals ahead of the S25 Edge’s May 30 release.
The phone sounds like a winner: it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, comes with 12GB of RAM, and starts with 256GB of internal storage. It also has a dual camera setup with a 200MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and front-facing lens. And it is very thin – about 5.84 mm.
It’s great when retailers offer pre-orders for flagship products. They don’t happen often, and after product releases, it’s rare to see an opportunity like this for at least a couple of months. Right now, both Samsung and Amazon are offering a free upgrade to 512GB from the base 256GB variant, allowing you to choose the unlocked version from the same three colors.
But that’s where the similarities end.
If you have a phone to trade in, take advantage of Samsung’s offer.
Samsung is offering up to $630 in credits when you pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. If you want, you can also trade in more than one phone. If you choose Samsung, you will also get three months of free Samsung Care+ Theft and Loss. Finally, if for some reason you want to upgrade again within 12 months, you’ll get at least 50% of the new phone’s MSRP.
If you don’t have a trade-in program, Amazon offers a $50 gift card.
If you don’t have a trade-in program or want to try your luck selling your old phone yourself, take advantage of Amazon’s deal. You’ll get the same shipping times and price, a one-year warranty, and a $50 Amazon gift card, which Samsung doesn’t offer.
