JBL Xtreme 4 Outdoor Speaker System $130 Off

The JBL Xtreme 4 is massive, at the limit of what I would call a portable speaker, with powerful sound that can handle a large backyard barbecue party. Right now it’s $130 off, bringing its price down to $249.95 (originally $379.95). According to price tracking tools , this is an all-time low price for this particular speaker.

I’ve been using the JBL Xtreme 4 outdoor speaker system for a few months now, taking it with me to hang out in the backyard, in the office, or to football matches with Street FC . Since I have other JBL speakers , I can take full advantage of the Aurocast feature, which allows me to connect it to other JBL speakers for a fuller sound experience. I also found the full EQ customization and presets useful.

The speaker is powerful, which makes sense for a speaker of this size. What stands out most is the powerful bass, typical of JBL speakers. Since it is IP67 rated, it is submersible and dust resistant, making it ideal for the beach. The package also includes a detachable carrying strap, making it much easier to carry.

What are your thoughts so far?

The battery can last up to about 27 hours, depending on your usage, but I was able to extend the life beyond that by being conservative with the volume. Speaking of volume, this is a directional speaker, meaning it will project where it’s facing. In my backyard, I try to place it as far away as possible and turn up the volume, which has worked well for my gatherings of about 12 people.
