The New MacBook Air M4 Is $150 Off Right Now

The new 2025 line of M4 MacBook Air laptops hit record low prices last week, but today the prices are even lower. The 13-inch MacBook Air M4 with 16GB of unified memory and 256GB of SSD storage is currently $849 (originally $999) after a $150 rebate.
While we don’t condone panic buying due to tariffs, there are some smart technology purchases you can make if you plan on buying them anyway. Laptops are definitely one of them.
Although this is an entry-level MacBook Air, it comes with 16GB of RAM, which is double the amount of memory found in the previous generation’s base model. This is enough to tackle intensive applications and projects now and for many years to come. It also features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with a 2560 x 1664 resolution, P3 wide color gamut and 500 nits peak brightness. You also get a great backlit keyboard with Touch ID, Wi-Fi 6E support, and excellent speakers and microphones. Apple has also decided to bring MagSafe charging back to this laptop.
The 12 MP camera is equipped with Center Stage function. You may have first seen this feature on the iPad and on the M4 MacBook Pro , which follows your face as you move around the frame during video calls. The two USB-C ports are Thunderbolt 4, which means you can connect up to two external 6K monitors if you buy the hardware separately.
For a “basic” laptop, the 13-inch MacBook Air M4 offers incredible value for money and, in fact, much better value for money than the Pro, according to senior tech editor Jake Peterson. When you consider the discount, this really is the best MacBook for most people.
