These Refurbished Sonos Soundbars, Subwoofers and Headphones Are on Sale for Earth Day
In “celebration” of Earth Day, some appliance retailers are offering discounts on their refurbished products. Sonos is one such retailer , and they have really good discounts. Sonos says it refurbishes these products to “like new” condition and still offers the same one-year warranty. Here’s what you can get from them on sale today:
Sonos Ace headphones cost $269.
The Sonos Ace is the only pair of Sonos headphones that first launched last summer. You can get a pair for $269 ($449 new). Battery life is impressive: about 30 hours with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) or Aware mode settings active, or about 40 hours with both settings turned off. Bluetooth multipoint connection means you can connect up to two devices at the same time and easily switch between them. Soundbars start at $191.
The Sonos Beam Gen 1 has been around since 2018, but it’s much better than most soundbars you can get for under $200 today. According to a CNET review , it supports Google and Alexa voice assistants, as well as AirPlay. Priced at $191 direct from the Sonos website, it’s a great deal for anyone who wants to try out the Sonos ecosystem for little money.
According to a review by CNET , the Sonos Beam Gen 2 came out in 2021 with Atmos compatibility and a better processor. For $299 ($499 new), you get much bigger, richer sound in a compact soundbar of the same size.
If you’re looking for a top-notch soundbar, check out the Sonos Arc Ultra . This is the latest soundbar from Sonos, and one of the best on the market, according to PCMag’s “outstanding review.” It’s still expensive at $599 , but 40% cheaper than new ($999). It has speakerphone, Sonos voice control, Ethernet connection, multi-room and the best sound Sonos has to offer.
Subwoofers start at $259.
If you want to hear booming bass that will give your theater system more depth, invest in a subwoofer. The Sonos Sub Gen 3 isn’t the newest (it’s a Gen 4), but the 3 is much cheaper and still a very capable subwoofer. You can get it for $479 ($799 new).
The Sonos Sub Mini is a smaller, more affordable version of the Sonos Sub, ideal for a small apartment or room where you need a soundbar and subwoofer combination. You can get it for $259 ($428 new); Read more about it in CNET’s review .
