My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: Samsung the Frame TV

After several exciting new technology products were unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this January, prices on older flagship models began to drop, and TVs were no exception. A Pro version of The Frame TV was introduced, causing prices for the 2024 versions to drop. Fast forward to April, and prices have dropped even further on some sizes. The 2024 43-inch The Frame is on sale for $797.99 (originally $997.99), which is its lowest price, according to price trackers . The largest size, the 85-inch series, has a record $1,800 discount, currently $2,497.99 (originally $4,297.99).
Samsung’s The Frame smart TVs have come a long way since their release in 2017. Designed to appeal to people who want a big TV but don’t want it to dominate their decor, its main feature is a matte, anti-glare display that takes the “art in a frame” aspect to the next level – and with 4K picture quality. As the name suggests, the appeal of this TV is that it can be used as a frame for digital art thanks to its anti-glare matte display and customizable frame.
I first saw the 2022 version up close when it was released, I admit my brother tricked me into thinking it was the real thing (it does look like it). The matte screen does a good job of making the TV look like a painting, and it’s great for bright rooms where the screen might otherwise get a lot of glare. This version received an “average” rating from PCMag, mainly due to poor contrast and price. However, the new 2024 version represents the latest generation of the series and has noticeable improvements.
You’ll get an improved 120Hz refresh rate, the same QLED display, and 4K resolution with the Quantum 4K processor. You can buy frames separately to suit your tastes and even design them with a Harry Potter theme, like this TikTok guy did .
