This Robot Vacuum and Mop Is Now Under $200
Roborock is the maker of many great robot vacuums (and vacuum and mop combinations). They’re so good, in fact, that even when they’re on sale, as many of them have been over the past few days during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, they can still set you back a few hundred dollars. However, one Roborock vacuum cleaner and mop combo is currently discounted: the Q7 Max costs $189.99 (Amazon lists the regular price at $299.99, while the original price on Roborock’s website is a whopping $599.99).

So what do you get for $189.99? The Q7 Max has a suction power of 4200Pa, which is modest but powerful. (Some Roborocks models increase suction power to 10,000 Pa, but if you’re dealing with a standard amount of household dust, that should be enough.) This device also vacuums and mops at the same time, saving time and effort. As with other models, you get 30 adjustable water flow levels, which means you can customize the robot’s performance to suit your preferences and flooring materials. It doesn’t self-clean when docked, so you’ll have to empty the dust and water tanks periodically.
One of the key benefits of this brand of vacuum cleaners is lidar navigation, which allows vacuum cleaners to create 3D maps of your space over time. The machine will then determine the most efficient cleaning route and learn to avoid obstacles. It detects stairs, automatically returns to the charging dock when needed, and has a feature that lets you lock it with a mobile app to prevent your kids and pets from messing with it.
It will last up to 180 minutes on a single charge and can cover over 3,200 square feet in that time. This model uses a rubber brush that sits low to the floor to pick up dirt and hair from both flat surfaces and crevices. That being said, it only works over 2.4G Wi-Fi, so don’t try to connect it to anything more powerful.
