What’s up with Roborok, you ask? The brand consistently produces reliable cars. For example, the S8 Max V Ultra really wowed Lifehacker’s Amanda Blume with its easy setup, significant suction power, and increased cleaning performance, while the S8 Pro Ultra blew her away with its autonomy, laser lidar self-direction, and maneuverability.

Roborock Qrevo Master is great for pet owners.

Qrevo Master usually costs $1,599.99, but for the holiday shopping season the price drops to $799.99. It is a combination vacuum cleaner and mop with many interesting features. It comes with “Intelligent Dirt Detection” that allows it to detect and revisit heavily soiled areas, a docking station that is self-cleaning and doesn’t need to be emptied for seven weeks, a FlexiArm side brush that gets into edges and corners, 10,000 Pa suction and, interestingly, “real-time video calling and two-way voice communication with your pets.” Qrevo Master automatically recognizes pets, and you can even use its cameras to keep an eye on your animals (or whatever you want) while you’re away.

The S8+ is a cheaper option with solid specs.

If you don’t need 10,000 Pa suction. Lucky you! You can save even more money. The S8+ has 6,000 Pa of suction and its self-cleaning dock needs to be refreshed about every 60 days, but it’s now $499.99 instead of $999.99. According to the company, it’s “smart enough to stay out of trouble” because it uses 3D mapping technology to map your home as it cleans.

The Q8 Max is a cheaper option with more potential.

Try the Q8 Max or S8 if you want to spend just $259.99 (down from the usual $599.99) or $349.99 (down from $749.99). Both map your home like pricier options and feature a DuoRoller brush that’s ideal for picking up hair, but they don’t have a self-cleaning dock, so you’ll have to empty it after it’s vacuumed or mopped.

What are your thoughts so far?

The Q8 Max+ and Q5 Pro+ clean themselves for less money.

If you liked the prices on the Q8Max or S8 but really want that self-cleaning dock, consider the Q8 Max+ , now $399.99 (down from $819.99), or the Q5 Pro+, marked down to $299.99 (down from $699.99). For a few extra dollars, you get a DuoRoller brush, house mapping and object dodging, and a self-cleaning dock that doesn’t need to be touched for seven weeks. Power is lower – 5500 Pa suction on both – but this is the biggest compromise compared to more expensive models.

The Q7 Max+ is in the middle.

Finally, the Q7 Max+ is in a better position in terms of price and features: it normally costs $869.99, now $549.99. Even though you only get 4,200Pa of suction, you won’t have to empty the self-cleaning dock for seven weeks, it features 30-level adjustable water flow for cleaning floors, uses lidar navigation, and you can set no-go and no-go zones to make sure it doesn’t get into those ‘trouble’ spots.
