This Sony Wireless Gaming Headset Is Now on Sale at Its Lowest Price Ever

The Sony Inzone H9 is currently on sale for $198—that’s $100 off its regular price of $299.99 and its lowest price ever, according to price trackers .
With a sleek black and white design, RGB status rings, and an angular style that matches the console’s vibe, this gaming headset is designed specifically for PS5 users. The headband provides good compliance without pressing too hard, and its ear pads are soft enough for marathon sessions without ear fatigue. In terms of controls, on the left earcup you’ll find a permanently attached microphone (which mutes when you lift it up), as well as an ANC switch, a volume wheel, and a USB-C charging port. On the right, you get power, Bluetooth pairing, and a switch for balancing game and chat audio. It’s easy to use—even in the middle of a match, notes PCMag’s review .
In terms of performance, the Inzone H9 delivers active noise cancellation, decent bass, and simulated surround sound via Sony’s Inzone Hub for Windows. The ANC system isn’t earth-shattering, but it does a fairly good job of muffling low-level noises like fans or air conditioning. However, high-pitched sounds still leak through. The microphone works great for regular voice chat, but if you plan to broadcast or record, it won’t work—the voice quality is more like “Zoom call” than “studio-ready.” However, for gaming and Discord, it gets the job done. You can customize sound profiles using the 10-band equalizer on PC and enable spatial audio, but if you’re using PS5, this setting isn’t possible. However, Sony’s built-in 3D audio does work on the console, so you don’t miss out on anything. A relative disadvantage is the complete lack of a wired connection. The H9 operates purely wirelessly—either via a 2.4GHz USB dongle or Bluetooth—so you’ll have to manage battery life.
Speaking of battery, Sony promises up to 32 hours of battery life depending on how you use it. This is not bad, especially for a headset with working ANC and Bluetooth. You can also connect it to your phone, which adds flexibility. However, Bluetooth audio quality won’t match the higher-quality, lower-latency signal from the dongle, especially if you’re gaming. If you’re looking for loud, theatrical bass, this headset won’t blow you away, but it retains its low end without distortion, even at higher volumes.
