Blink Mini 2 Is Now on Sale at Its Lowest Price

It’s a compact, simple security camera with a wide 143-degree field of view, an improved sensor for better performance in low-light conditions, and a built-in LED floodlight for color night vision (night vision is in color when the floodlight is on, otherwise in black and white). Unlike the original Mini, this one can detect people, pets and packages, but only if you’re willing to pay for a Blink subscription ($3 per month for one camera, $10 for unlimited). Without it, you still get live view, motion detection, and local storage with Sync Module 2 ($49.99, sold separately), which lets you record footage to an SD card (up to 256GB supported) instead of paying for cloud storage. That extra cost is worth considering, especially when you compare it to alternatives like the TP-Link Tapo C120 , which currently costs $24.99 (down from $39.99) and is fully weatherproof out of the box. The Tapo C120 also records video in 2K instead of 1080p and includes free AI-powered alerts without a subscription. If you want clearer footage and free smart detection, it’s better to spend an extra $5.
However, the Blink Mini 2 is still a viable option if you’re already part of the Blink ecosystem or just want an affordable indoor camera with Alexa compatibility. With the Blink Home Monitor app, you can fine-tune motion settings, control the floodlight, and set up privacy features.
