Portable projectors obviously need to work independently of a power outlet and be easy to carry around. The Nebula Capsule Air can do both while measuring just 5.5 by 2.7 by 2.7 inches (HWD)—slightly larger than a regular soda can. The battery isn’t great, but given the size, two hours is plenty (you’ll be able to watch most movies in one frame). Where this projector falls short is in brightness, reaching just 150 ANSI lumens. This means you need to darken the space if you want to see a good image. If there is ambient light outside and you are hoping to use this projector, it may be overexposed. The native resolution is also only 720p, although it does support 1080p input in HDR.

PCMag gave this projector an “Excellent” rating in its review , noting that HDR makes shadows look much better, praising its Google TV operating system (which is my favorite because it allows you to seamlessly cast your phone to the projector), and praising the swivel stand that makes it easy to position your image on the screen or wall.

Portable projectors need a good keystone effect because by their nature they will move around a lot and the image will be constantly out of focus. Nebula Capsule Air has excellent keystone correction, autofocus and automatic horizontal and vertical adjustment.

If you’re looking for the smallest, most durable projector at a great price, the Nebula Capsule Air projector is a great choice.
