The Pi6 is a step up from the more premium Pi8 wireless headphones , both of which are due out in 2024. Even though this is a product that has had cuts made to make it a ‘budget’ option, the sound quality remains premium. I’ve had these headphones for almost a year now and I consider them to be some of the best sounding headphones I own. You will get support for SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive and aptX Classic codecs, which explains the great sound. The soundstage is detailed and has Bowers & Wilkins’ usual crisp sound signature. The fit is comfortable and easy. Despite the lack of hooks, I felt like I could take them for a run with no problem.

However, the Pi6 isn’t perfect. They lack Spatial Audio, a “find my headphones” feature, and the app can be glitchy. While I may sound picky, these are basic features that other headphones at this price point have. But at the discounted price of $168, I’m willing to look past these issues. The 12mm drivers provide decent noise reduction. You can expect around eight hours of battery life and another 24 hours with the case. You will get Bluetooth 5.4 and IP54 waterproof rating (do not submerge them under water). The headphones also have three microphones so people can hear you clearly.

If you’re looking for good quality audio with high-resolution playback, good noise cancellation and battery life, the Pi6 headphones offer excellent value for money at their current price.
