The 75-Inch Hisense U7 Is Now 43% Off

As tech reviewers purchase the latest TVs and write their reviews, a picture begins to emerge about which TVs are the best for each category. For those looking for value for money a level above ‘budget TVs’, the decision between TCL’s QM7 and Hisense’s U7N is still undecided. The best of the bunch is the 75-inch U7N, which is currently on sale for $859.99 (originally $1,499.98) after 43% off, its lowest price ever, according to price trackers .

The U7N came out last summer and competed with the QM7. The U7N is a QLED TV, which is the best technology for TVs before the transition to OLED. According to PCMag’s “excellent” review , the U7N is bright for a mid-range QLED, reaching over 1,500 nits, and colors are accurate. I love the Google TV interface as I can cast my phone directly to the screen and all the free channels never get in the way. Of course, this also means you can use Google Assistant and Apple AirPlay to control your TV.

If you’re a gamer, you’ll love the U7N’s 6.2 millisecond input lag when switching to gaming mode. 144Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro makes gaming smooth (just like sports). For those who want to know if you’re getting what you pay for in the specs, Google TV has a Game Bar feature that shows specs like frame rate and resolution, as well as quick access to other settings gamers use.

The main complaint with the U7N is that shadow detail can look a little washed out, but most people won’t notice this. At the current price, this U7N is a better deal than the QM7 and the inexpensive QLED TV you can buy right now.
