Available in black, these headphones feature silicone tips in four sizes for a more comfortable and snug fit. They use Bluetooth 5.2 and support multiple codecs including AAC, AptX and AptX Adaptive for high-quality playback (although there is no LDAC). Additionally, their 7mm dynamic drivers operate from 5Hz to 21kHz, delivering a well-balanced sound signature: bass sounds powerful without distortion, and highs remain clear even at high volumes. The touch controls are well thought out, with a single tap on the left earbud toggling transparency mode, while the right earbud controls playback. Double and triple taps control track navigation (left back, right forward) and voice assistants, respectively. If you’re not happy with that, a companion app lets you customize the controls. The Smart Control app also includes equalizer settings, although the three-band equalizer is fairly basic, according to this PCMag review .

The noise cancellation on the CX Plus is above average, especially for a budget pair. It handles low-frequency sounds like airplane engines well and reduces mids and lows in crowded areas, but higher-pitched noises reportedly leak through. Battery life is about eight hours per charge, and the case adds another 16 hours (mileage may vary). And with an IPX4 rating, they can withstand sweat and light rain; However, if you want something more waterproof, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro ($154.99) might be a better choice, although it costs nearly three times as much.
