The Beats Pill Speaker Is Now $50 Off, Its Lowest Price Ever
These days, there are some features that make Bluetooth speakers better than they were just a couple of years ago: USB-C for universal fast charging, high-resolution audio playback for great sound quality, charging for other devices, and a built-in speaker. The Beats Pill speaker has all of these features and more, making it a great modern speaker. According to price trackers , the price has dropped to $99.99 (originally $149.95), marking the lowest price since its recent release. This speaker costs less than a hundred dollars and is a real steal.
I’ve been trying out the Beats Pill speaker since it came out in June, and it has everything I want in a portable speaker: stereo sound when connected to another compatible speaker, multi-room mode for playing the same music on multiple speakers, Find My Device in case you lose it, and Class 1 Bluetooth for extended range.
This Beats speaker isn’t just for Apple users, as Android users can also connect with Bluetooth 5.3, but it only supports AAC and SBC codecs , so there are no Android-friendly codec options to make the audio pop. Apple users will get the most out of Pill with full iOS compatibility for a smoother experience. You can read more about this in PCMag’s “excellent” review .
In terms of battery life, you can expect around 24 hours per charge depending on usage, which is in line with other speakers of this size. The sound represents the classic vibrant Beats sound signature, offering a balanced yet bass-rich sound. It is IP67 rated and dust and water resistant so it can be submerged underwater for up to 30 minutes. The main downside of this speaker is that there is no customizable equalizer in the app, but it already has a great audio signal.
