The Reolink Video Doorbell Is Now Over 50% Off
Since my house was broken into, I have installed as many CCTV cameras, floodlights and other security measures as I could (and they still work great). The video doorbell I chose for my front door is the Reolink Video Doorbell . Right now, you can snag one of the best video doorbells of 2025 for $51.99 (originally $109.99), the lowest price it’s ever been, even cheaper than used video doorbells on Amazon , according to price trackers .
One of the main reasons I decided to use the Reolink video doorbell is that there is no monthly subscription fee if you don’t want to pay for the cloud service, but you don’t have to since you can just use the SD card as local storage (it automatically deletes old footage so the local storage doesn’t fill up). I liked that it comes with a free plug-in sound so you can hear it wherever you place it in your home. It’s also very flexible; you can install it using an Ethernet cable if you have weak Wi-Fi, or a wired connection if you don’t want to rely on batteries.
The benefit of using an Ethernet cable (other than a strong and reliable internet connection) is that it won’t be affected by Wi-Fi jammers that burglars might use before breaking in.
It also has a pre-watch video feature that records six seconds before an event is triggered so you can have context for the event. The field of view is designed for a wide 180-degree view, which means you won’t be able to see packages on the porch (unless you tilt it down, but you may miss the faces of people who come close to the door).
