The Samsung Galaxy S22 Is Now Over $500 Off

The Samsung Galaxy S22 (factory unlocked) is available on Woot for $347.99, well below its original price of $849.99. That’s a huge $500 price cut, but it’ll only last four days (or until it sells out). Prime members also get free shipping, while non-Prime shoppers will have to pay $6 (shipping is unfortunately not available to Alaska, Hawaii, or PO Boxes).

For under $350, you get a premium compact phone (backed by Samsung’s one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty) that will last until 2024. This sold version of the Phantom Black comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, so you won’t have to worry about running out of space anytime soon. Plus, its 6.1-inch AMOLED screen is reportedly bright, clear, and adaptive, varying from 48Hz to 120Hz depending on what you’re doing, and if you want to save battery, you can lock it at 60Hz, according to this PCMag review . In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor ensures a fast and smooth experience, and Samsung’s OneUI interface (based on Android 12) is loaded with convenient features. If you travel a lot, you’ll appreciate full 5G support on US networks, as well as reliable connectivity even in weak signal areas.

The S22’s camera is solid, especially at this price: its 50MP main sensor allows for detailed shots, the ultra-wide-angle lens is great for landscapes, and the 3x telephoto lens gives a good zoom for portraits. The S22 allows you to record 4K video at 60fps or 8K (though it’s locked to 24fps). On the downside, the S22’s battery life is poor. Its 3,700mAh battery barely lasts for five hours of screen time, meaning you’ll likely need a midday charge if you’re using it heavily. And while it supports 15W wireless charging and reverse charging, fast charging speeds could be better.
