Available in black/gold , space silver and clear , these headphones come with four pairs of silicone tips (XS, S, M, L) for a custom fit. Pairing is seamless thanks to Bluetooth 5.3, giving Apple users one-touch pairing between iCloud devices, as well as Handoff support for fast audio transfer. For Android users, Google Fast Pair instantly syncs them with any linked Google account.

Each earbud features three microphones that enhance voice clarity, block out noise with Active Noise Canceling (ANC), and let in ambient sound with Transparency mode. Specially designed dual-layer dynamic drivers provide rich, clear sound without distortion, even at maximum volume. There’s no customizable equalizer, however, so you’ll have to rely on iOS presets (if you’re using an Apple device) or default headphone settings. The ANC performance of these headphones is good for the price, effectively cutting out low-frequency noise such as airplane noise and reducing background noise in the midrange. Transparency mode is equally strong, making external sounds appear natural. Additionally, controlling the buttons on the Studio Buds+ is fairly simple, and according to this PCMag review , they’re responsive without being overly sensitive, reducing the likelihood of accidental presses.

For Apple Studio users, Buds+ integrates seamlessly with iOS, including support for the Find My feature, which helps you find lost headphones. However, it only shows the last connection location of your case (with headphones inside). If you remove the buds and leave the body in place, the bud placement will not be updated. Android users also get a good experience, but miss hands-free Siri and deeper system-level controls. These headphones are rated IPX4, which means they can withstand sweat and light splashes, but they’re not designed to withstand heavy water—if waterproofing is high on your list of must-haves, the JBL Reflect Aero ($99.95, down from $149.95) has a higher IP68 rating and may be a better fit.
