Google Pixel 7 Pro Is Now $700 Off
The Google Pixel 7 Pro (512GB, unlocked) is now $399.99 on Woot, down from its original price of $1,099.99. This deal is available for the next 26 days or until sold out.
Launching in late 2022, this flagship phone features a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that makes video playback and casual scrolling quite smooth. The display is also bright enough to be used outdoors, something many phones in this price range struggle with. Plus, with an IP68 rating and Gorilla Glass on both sides, the Pixel 7 Pro can withstand the occasional splash or accidental drop.
Powering the Pixel 7 Pro is the Google Tensor G2 chip. It’s not the fastest processor compared to the latest Snapdragon chips, but it should handle multitasking and gaming without too much trouble. Plus, Google’s software optimizations mean you get Android 13’s sleek interface with Pixel-exclusive features like voice-to-text transcription, the ability to comment on posts, and the use of Google Assistant to send messages.
If you take a lot of pictures or photography is a priority for you, the Pixel 7 Pro’s camera setup is hard to beat (especially at this price)—its 50MP main camera reportedly takes sharp, bright photos (even in low light); its 48MP telephoto lens (with 5x optical zoom) is great for detailed close-ups; And the 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens adds drama to scenic shots. Additionally, Google has included an accessibility feature called Guided Frame that uses audio cues to help visually impaired users take selfies, a PCMag review noted. The phone also has camera tools like Top Shot, Night Sight, Face Unblur and more for all your photo/video needs.
The Pixel 7 Pro’s battery life is decent: around 11 hours with regular/moderate use – not outstanding, but serviceable. It supports 30W fast charging, although you’ll have to buy a charger separately as it’s not included in the box. For those who prefer wireless charging, the Pixel 7 Pro offers up to 15W charging using Qi-compatible chargers.
