JBL Tour Pro 3 Headphones Are Now on Sale at the Lowest Price
The JBL Tour Pro 3 headphones, currently selling for their lowest price ever (according to price trackers ) at $249.95 (down from $299.95), are IP55 rated and come in black or latte .
These flat stem headphones come with six pairs of tips (one is foam), giving you plenty of options for a comfortable fit. However, while they are generally safe, they can reportedly slip off during more intense activities such as running, which is a potential downside for fitness enthusiasts. They last for a decent seven hours with ANC on, 11 hours with ANC off, and another three full charges from the case, for a total of 28 to 44 hours with ANC on and off respectively.
The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity and support Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and Bluetooth multipoint (up to three devices). They also feature Auracast, an advanced Bluetooth technology that streams audio to an unlimited number of Bluetooth devices, as noted in this PCMag review . For high-resolution audio, they support LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs, offering a wide frequency range from 20 Hz to 40 kHz. Each earbud features dual drivers—a 10.2mm dynamic driver and a 5.1×2.8mm balanced frame—for rich sound with deep bass and crisp highs. The Tour Pro 3’s active noise cancellation works well, but it doesn’t match the industry-leading capabilities of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds ($299), especially in reducing high-frequency noise.
The Tour Pro 3 charging case has a built-in touch display that lets you control playback, adjust EQ settings, and switch ANC modes without taking out your phone. Unique to JBL, the case also doubles as a Bluetooth transmitter, allowing you to stream audio from non-Bluetooth sources such as in-flight entertainment systems via the included USB cable or 3.5mm to USB-C adapter. For more customization, the companion app gives you access to a full set of controls, including selecting noise-canceling modes, personalizing controls on the headphones, and managing EQ settings. You can choose from six preset equalizers or create your own using JBL’s customizable equalizer tool. The app also lets you turn spatial audio on or off and fine-tune call settings, such as adjusting the EQ for incoming audio and optimizing microphone performance.
