You Can Watch Severance (or Any Apple TV+ Original) Without a Subscription This Weekend
Apple TV+ will launch in 2025, offering weekends of free streaming of all of its original programming. From January 4 to 5, anyone can log into Apple’s streaming service on any compatible device and watch Apple Original movies and TV shows for free.
Apple hasn’t specified whether its catalog of non-original content will be free, so it’s a gray area for now. Here’s the trailer Apple posted on social media to promote it:

What to watch on Apple TV+ during the free weekend
The most popular Apple Originals exhibit in early 2025 is Severance . The sci-fi dystopian workplace drama (finally) returns for a second season on January 17th. If you haven’t seen the first season yet, do yourself a favor and watch it – even with a 97% “fresh rating” on Rotten. Tomatoes, Severance is not overrated.
