When I went shopping last week, I wasn’t necessarily looking for a new air purifier, but as is typical on trips to Costco, I left the bulk shopping megastore with many unexpected wonders, one of which was the Shark NeverChange . I was attracted not only by the low price (since I was at Costco after all), but also by the promises on the box: the filter will not have to be changed for five years, and the machine will “neutralize” odors from above. air purification. When the percentage is between 0 and 69, a red ring appears around the display. From 70 to 84 the ring is orange, from 85 to 100 it is blue. Just by looking at NeverChange and noticing the color of the ring, I can quickly gauge how good (or bad) the air is around me.
I know it works because the display reacts quickly (and, frankly, harshly) every time something new, like smoke, enters the air. Being able to see proof that it identifies particles and filters them gives me more confidence in my purchase.
The odor neutralizer turned out to be a small scent cartridge that attaches to the top of the machine. I can adjust the intensity of the scent by turning it. There are two pre-filters on the sides of the unit that slide out easily for quick cleaning, while the large, powerful NeverChange filter inserts from the bottom.
