Amazon Music Has Finally Released Its Own Version of Spotify
If you use Amazon Music, you might feel out of the loop this time of year as Spotify and Apple Music users share their listening stats from Wrapped and Replay, respectively. This year, however, things are a little different: It seems Amazon has finally jumped on the year-end bandwagon by rolling out its own version for users, which it calls “Delivered.” (Get it? Because Amazon?)
If you’ve ever used an annual report platform, Amazon Music Delivered seems pretty standard: the feature summarizes your 2024 listening activity, including stats like your top artists, songs, and podcasts of the year—if you used Amazon Music for of course, you need podcasts. Amazon also says you’ll see all the “hidden gems” you’ve discovered, as well as the “top search” you’ve made on Amazon Music through Alexa. I’m sure your social media pages will be full of these statistics.
Amazon says some listeners may receive a message from one of its top artists. The company hasn’t confirmed which artists provided these messages, but Amazon says you need an Alexa-enabled device to receive the messages.
Either way, it’s a big improvement over the way things worked before: Amazon Music used to offer an annual playlist featuring your best tracks from the past year. But this new feature like Spotify Wrapped is a more interesting way to take stock of your listening habits in 2024.
How to Find Amazon Music Delivery 2024
To check out your version of 2024 Delivered, open the Amazon Music app on your iPhone or Android, then go to your Library . Here, tap the “Delivered in 2024” banner and you’re in business.
While all the graphics are new, you can still access the year-end playlist. You’ll find them in the new “Best Songs of 2024” playlist rather than the old “My Year in Review” playlist. You can also ask Alexa to play a playlist by saying, “Alexa, play my top songs of 2024.”
If you have an Alexa-enabled device connected to your Amazon Music account, you’ll see a flashing yellow light if you’ve received a message from a featured artist.
