The Best Robotic Lawnmower I’ve Tested All Year Gets $400 Off on Black Friday

The Mammotion Yuka 1500 turned out to be the best new robotic lawnmower I’ve tested this year. It has exceptional RTK positioning, heavy-duty wheels that handle rough terrain, and multi-zone control so you can share your mower with your neighbors. It’s 20% off during Black Friday, bringing the price down to $1,648 (originally $2,048).

Before testing the Yuka 1500, I preferred the Mammotion Luba. It outperformed other lawn mowers in terms of reliability, stability and consistency to the point where I was shocked that its design and features weren’t stolen by other companies. The only problem – and I mean really the only problem – is that a small lawn requires too many machines. At the end of the summer, Mammotion sent me a solution to this problem – Yuka 1500.

In fact, the Yuka 1500 improves on several aspects of the Luba with its self-emptying feature and voice control. Yuka can mow your lawn or simply sweep it for leaves, mulch them at the same time, and then throw them anywhere. It’s so enjoyable that it’s become a drinking game where friends come over to watch us drink around the fire.

The Yuka is only going to mow up to 1,500 square feet, but that’s still about 0.37 acres, and you can easily adjust the height and mowing pattern to get those precious mowing marks. To train him on the lawn, simply walk him around the yard using the remote control; it will independently avoid obstacles in its range. While you won’t need the Yuka until next year, buy it while it’s on sale, save it for spring, and you’ll have something to look forward to.
