What’s New on Prime Video in December 2024

Prime Video’s lineup next month will include a new adult animated anthology series from the creators of Netflix Love, Death + Robots : Secret Level (December 10), based on various video games and gaming franchises (such as Pac-Man and Dungeons & Dragons ) and features voice acting by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart and Keanu Reeves.

In December, the classic game show will be updated: Pop Culture Jeopardy! (December 4), hosted by Colin Jost, teams of three compete against each other in a pop culture knowledge test. Also in competition is Beast Games (December 19), a Squid Game -style reality show hosted by YouTuber MrBeast, whose production was marred by controversy .

Amazon-produced documentaries heading to Prime Video this month include Glitter and Greed: The Lisa Frank Story (December 5), a four-part series that goes behind the scenes of the brand known for products like neon notepads, stickers and other supplies. well known to children of the 90s. “ChiefsAholic: A Wolf in a Chief’s Clothes” (December 23) is a true crime documentary about Kansas City Chiefs superfan Xavier Babudar, who paid for tickets by robbing banks.

In the “true crime, but make it fun” category, there’s Sticky (December 6), a limited drama series based on the Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist of 2011–2012, in which thieves stole nearly 3,000 tons of syrup (worth millions of dollars) and sold it in Canada and the USA. The series stars Margot Martindale as a syrup farmer, Chris Diamantopoulos as a Boston gangster, and Guillaume Cyr as a French-Canadian security guard.
