My Favorite Vacuum and Mop Combo Is $150 Off on Black Friday
During Black Friday sales, I always find sales on cool new things that I don’t already have, but I’m especially excited when I see a sale on something I own because it means I get to share the wealth . . On this occasion, I’m happy to announce that my favorite Bissell CrossWave OmniForce vacuum cleaner is on sale ahead of the holiday shopping season. Not really. This is not my favorite vacuum cleaner; it’s something more. This thing is a vacuum cleaner and a mop. It’s very cool, versatile, compact and functional.
Bissel CrossWave OmniForce
As I mentioned earlier , a few months ago I replaced my trusty (and much loved) Bissell featherweight putter with a CrossWave OmniFore. To be clear, I liked the featherweight putter. It’s about $30 and is much better than the vacuum cleaner I was using before. In fact, I liked it so much that when I mentioned it in another review earlier this year, Bissell sent me the CrossWave OmniForce to test out. It usually retails for $379.99, which is out of my price range, so while I was extremely grateful for this personal touch, I recommended it to you all with the caveat that it is a little pricey. It’s worth it, but expensive!
At least until today. This item is almost 40% off on Black Friday.
Why I Love the Bissell Vacuum and Mop Combination
I’m a big fan of this device because it allowed me to throw out my old vacuum cleaner and mop. It has tremendous suction power that pulls dirt out of my carpets with almost frightening ease. It holds a steady charge long enough for me to clean my entire apartment without being tethered to a cord.
You can use the vacuum cleaner separately or use a dual mode: vacuum and mop the floor at the same time. It has two reservoirs that separate clean and dirty water and clean its own brush roll so dust and debris end up in the dirty reservoir.
It’s a little heavier than what I’m used to, but that’s the point; it is a complete solution and needs to be more durable to provide its suction power. I haven’t encountered any problems other than this, even with my penchant for buying cheap rugs that should actually fall apart under any pressure. This probably says more about the quality of my $22 rug, but I’m always impressed when it survives another round with Bissell.
Overall I am a fan of the Bissell brand. These units are cheaper than other fancy vacuums on the market, but every Bissell I’ve owned or used has worked very well.
