My Favorite Robot Vacuum Is Under $400 on Black Friday
They say that good things come in small packages, and the Switchbot K10+ Pro is proof of that. I review many robot vacuum and mop combinations and they always cost over $1,000. This is what makes the K10+ Pro so special. To be clear, this is just a vacuum cleaner and not a mop, but that shouldn’t confuse you. As a vacuum cleaner, it’s better than most and retails for $399.99, down from $599.99 .
This bot is tiny, which works to K10’s advantage. Due to its small footprint, it fits into small spaces, allowing for a smaller radius around the legs of chairs and tables, and under low-profile furniture. It’s like a little M&M running around the house. Despite its miniature size, it still leaves vacuum marks on the floor, which I like: it makes the room feel like it’s been freshly cleaned. Intervention is rarely required due to clogged or stuck rollers.
Second, this sub-$400 robot features a self-emptying tower. I have become so spoiled that I can no longer be expected to empty the vacuum cleaner. Change the bag every few months and that’s all you need. The tower and vacuum cleaner are remarkably quiet, and the footprint of the tower matches the size of the robot. It fits perfectly into small spaces.
You may not think of Switchbot as a vacuum brand, but you should. I love everything about Switchbot, from the massive shiny white robots to the cleanliness of their app. Switchbot integrates with each assistant and makes it as painless as possible. You ask the robot to vacuum and it just does it.
While this vacuum can cover an entire house with no problem (I gave one to my neighbors because of their 1,400 sq. ft. house and they can’t stop talking about it), it’s also small and cheap enough for a dedicated spot that the main robot can’t reach due to the threshold of the floor or stairs. This would be an awesome office robot and also a great gift idea.
