What’s New on Paramount+ and Showtime in December 2024

Paramount+ has a small lineup of original films in December, the most notable of which is the series premiere of Dexter: Original Sin (December 13). The 10-episode Dexter prequel tells the titular character’s origin story and stars Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan and Christian Slater as his father Harry.

This month’s holiday content includes a SpongeBob SquarePants Christmas special (December 2), a live broadcast of the National Christmas Tree Show (December 20), Josh Groban and Friends Go Home for the Holidays (December 20), and Nate Bargatze in Nashville . Christmas (December 19). Paramount+ will also broadcast primetime An Evening with Dua Lipa (December 15) and the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors (December 22).

Everything else will come to the service in December. Please note that titles marked with an asterisk are exclusive to Paramount+With Showtime; everything else is also available to ad-supported plan subscribers. Those marked with two stars are available to Paramount+ With Showtime customers streaming live on CBS, as well as all next-day subscribers.
