The holiday season can truly begin now: Seasonal drinks recently returned to the Starbucks menu, and Red Cup Day is upon us. The annual promotion gives customers a free 16-ounce reusable red cup, which also gets you a small discount on future orders when you purchase a holiday drink. Here’s how to get yours on Thursday, November 14th.

How to Get a Free Red Cup at Starbucks

To take advantage of Red Cup Day, purchase any size of the holiday drink at a participating Starbucks location on November 14th. (If you’re not sure where to find this ubiquitous chain, use the store locator .)

Orders placed in-store, drive-thru, through the Starbucks app, or through Starbucks delivery through Uber Eats, Door Dash and GrubHub are eligible—there is no charge for deliveries made through the Starbucks app.

The only catch is that you have to order a fall or winter holiday drink, so your drip coffee or standard latte won’t qualify. Here is a list of suitable drinks that can be prepared hot, frozen or mixed:

  • Apple Crispy Oat Macchiato

  • Apple crispy espresso with oat milk and shaken

  • Caramel Brulee Latte

Once you receive your reusable red cup, you can take it with you to get $0.10 off future drink orders (plus 25 bonus stars if you’re a Starbucks Rewards member).
