These Robot Vacuums Are Cheaper Than They Were on Prime Day
My position on Roombas is no secret: iRobots are overpriced products that have been under their own brand for far too long. For years, they were satisfied that other brands were quick to innovate and bring cheaper products to market. Two of these brands are Yeedi and Roborock, which have been producing impressive machines over the years. Three of these robot vacuums are now selling for their lowest prices ever, according to price tracking tools . Here’s a breakdown of each one.
Roborock Q8 Max+ costs $460.
The Roborock Q8 Max+ is $459.99 (originally $819.99), its lowest price ever after 44% off. This robot vacuum cleaner has a lot of high-end features at a surprisingly low price (comparatively). It will avoid obstacles in its path using laser navigation and has a self-emptying container (though it does use a bag, so you’ll have to keep buying one). The LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) navigation system will map your home and set up customized cleaning zones. The suction power is 5500 Pa, which is quite reasonable for its price, and the operating time is up to 240 minutes.
Yeedi M12 Ultra Plus costs $640.
The Yeedi M12 Ultra Plus costs $639.99 (originally $1,099) after applying a $310 coupon at Amazon. This robot vacuum has more than double the suction power of the Q8 Max+, with an impressive 11,800Pa – and I can say from experience that it’s worth the extra money if you need power. It also features LiDAR navigation and TruMapping 2.0 technology, which can map multi-level homes (but it can’t go up or down stairs on its own) at an impressive speed of about 330 feet in six minutes. The mopping function is reliable, using self-cleaning and hot water mopping to disinfect the floors and itself. This machine will run for 290 minutes on a single charge.
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra costs $900.
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra costs $899.99 (originally $1,599.99) after using a $500 coupon at Amazon. This is one of the best robot vacuums from Roborock, but it’s worth it , according to Amanda Blum’s review. It’s not as powerful as Yeedi (6000 Pa), but it’s enough for most people. The best quality of this rabovak is its independence and minimal maintenance. It has many of the same features as the Yeedi and Q8 Max+, including self-cleaning, washing, emptying, refilling and drying. You can expect about 180 minutes from this machine.
