October’s Best Prime Day Deals on Bluetooth Speakers
It’s the last day of October Prime Day and there are still plenty of deals you can take advantage of. Some of the best discounts are on Amazon devices , but if you just want to browse around, check out my top 10 deals so far. If you’re looking for speakers, I’ve used price checkers to find the best deals from name brands. Here are the best ones I’ve found.
Small, portable speakers with big sound start at $25.
Small speakers are great for traveling, hiking, biking, or just hanging out on the porch with friends. There are two that I would personally recommend using: Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 for $42.99 (originally $79.99) after using the $5 off page coupon; and Skullcandy Kilo for $24.99 (originally $39.99). The Tribit has a flap at the back that is perfect for wrapping around your bike’s handlebars. It has a 12-hour battery and powerful 10W sound for its size, which you can read more about here . The Skullcandy Kilo has a 24-hour battery and is waterproof. I attached it to my bathtub and use it every time I shower. It has very impressive sound, especially for the price.
Mid-size portable speakers starting at $80.
These mid-sized speakers are louder and have more features than small ones. If you like flashy brands or stylish speakers, the latest Beats Pill is perfect for you and is now $99.99 (originally $149.95) and is the best speaker of its size you’ll find on this list. It has a 24-hour battery, a built-in microphone and speakerphone, and a 100-watt stereo speaker, which you can read more about in PCMag’s review .
The JBL Flip 6 has been around for three years and is a classic speaker with an all-time low price of $79.95 (originally $129.95). You can read more about this in PCMag’s review .
Ultimate Ears (UE) has a fourth-generation Boom, Boom 4 , for $110.82 (originally $149.99) that came out earlier this year. It has a battery life of 15 hours, 80W power and is waterproof. I’ve been using their speakers for years and love how easy they are to pair with other UE speakers.
The Sony SRS-XG300 is two years old, but for its age it’s properly discounted by 58%, bringing its price to $148 (originally $349.99). It’s a hands-free stereo speaker, and the app lets you control its equalizer, battery, and LED indicators. You can read more about this in PCMag’s review .

This is where things get serious. These larger speakers can fill a room with powerful sound and even host a small house party. JBL Boombox 2 costs $299.95 (originally $499.95) and is available in 2020; This is a classic boombox style speaker with powerful sound. Party Speakers Starting at $400
Party-sized speakers are not for the faint of heart. If you’re serious about your speakers, I have two great recommendations depending on what you’re looking for. The JBL PartyBox Stage 320 is a very interesting speaker with a lot of features designed for home parties. You can read more about this in my review here . At its current price of $399.95 (originally $599.95), it’s a great buy and well worth the money.
If you’re looking for a serious, powerful speaker that can be used on stage or for a large wedding or meeting, the Soundboks 4 is the monster you’re looking for. I’ve used this speaker to seat about 20 football players outdoors on a football field and it’s still overkill. You can also connect a microphone or instrument to it, but you won’t get all the features that the PartyBox Stage 320 offers.
