These Six Robot Vacuums Have the Biggest Discounts This October Prime Day
There’s no better purchase for Prime Day than a robot vacuum cleaner. These are expensive gadgets, but they change lives. And for the first time, some of my favorite top- and mid-tier models are heavily discounted during Amazon’s current October Prime Day sale. (If you’re hesitant to pull the trigger, remember that Amazon still has an excellent return policy, so there’s little risk in trying out a bot for a few weeks.)
Go Luxurious with the Roborock S8 Line
Of all the floor robots I’ve tested, this line remains the best, handling carpet and hard floors with equal aplomb. The mop and vacuum cleaner are great for daily cleaning and automatically empty, eliminating extra work on your part.
If I had a bigger budget, I’d grab the S8 MaxV Ultra, the newest flagship model, but a better deal is the S8 Max Ultra , which is 31% off the regular price of $1,599.99.
Roborock Qrevo Line is an excellent mid-range option.
If you’re looking for something more mid-range, I’d still go with Roborock and stick with their Qrevo line, which has a number of heavily discounted models. The top of the line is the Qrevo MaxV, which I consider comparable to the S8 line, the main difference being that it only has one mop pad rather than a rotating set of them. 29% off is a great deal.
If you prefer rotating mop pads, choose the Qrevo or S8 Max Ultra. I haven’t tested the Q8 Max+, but it’s the same line, and with a huge discount (44% off) and under $500, it’s my top pick for a vacuum/mop combo.

The Switchbot K10+ and K10+ Pro are great choices for a small home.
Here’s what’s interesting about this adorable mini vacuum: It’s technically a vacuum cleaner and a mop, but the mop is an afterthought and doesn’t work very well. Focus on the vacuum part: The K10+ is so small it can fit into smaller spaces, making small radius turns around chair and table legs. Like the Energizer Bunny, it seems to keep going, immune to the kind of crap that usually destroys other bots I’ve tried.
This year, Switchbot introduced a Pro version that maintains its rock star status with improved coverage areas so it gets closer to walls and furniture. The vacuum bag is now antibacterial, has stronger suction and allows for better obstacle avoidance.
Both models are already on sale, and either of them will be a profitable purchase for a small house or apartment. I can’t stress this enough, both of these models are crazy deals and are cheap enough on sale to make great holiday gifts.

Switchbot S10 can fill its own water tank.
The S10 is far from a mini-polbot, but, in fact, the beginning of the Switchbot ecosystem in your home. The S10 is a vacuum cleaner and mop that you can plug directly into your water supply so it fills and drains itself (you can also just use the included water tanks and fill and empty them manually). What’s more, the robot can act as a water jockey, filling itself with water and riding up to and filling other smart devices, such as the recently introduced Switchbot humidifier.
