These Amazon Tech Products Are Selling at Their Lowest Prices Ever for October Prime Day
Sifting through the thousands of October Prime Day deals can be challenging—how do you know if you’re getting a good deal or if you’re being tricked into thinking you are ? As a tech shopping writer, I try to make the process easier for you by using tools to check deal prices and recommend products that are worth your money (here are my favorites for Prime Day ). Having done this work, I can tell you that the following tech products all have the best deals they’ve ever received on Amazon.
Echo Show 8 costs $85.
The Echo Show 8 has dropped to its lowest price of $84.99 (originally $149.99). This is a great opportunity to install a smart screen device in your kitchen that can help you with cooking videos thanks to Alexa’s hands-free features, or have a bedside companion that will wake you up with news or help you relax at night. with some music or media (though you shouldn’t look at screens right before bed).
This 40-inch smart TV costs $160.
The Amazon Fire TV 2-Series , currently $159.99 (originally $249.99), is Amazon’s budget TV, and it’s cheap. It’s not 4K, just 1080p high resolution, but at this price that’s to be expected. It also comes with the Fire TV operating system, which means you can download your favorite streaming apps or install Kodi to stream anything for free . If you don’t mind spending more on a better TV, the 50-inch Fire TV 4-Series has 4K resolution and is currently $279.99 (originally $449.99).
If you already have a TV, you can simply make it smart with the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $34.99 (originally $59.99). Obviously you’ll need 4K for this (but you don’t need it to use it).
Amazon Fire Max 11 is over $90 off.
If you’d rather use your Kindle tablet to surf the web or watch your favorite shows on your laptop or phone, Amazon’s largest tablet, the Amazon Fire Max 11, costs $139.99 (originally $229.99). This 13th-generation Fire tablet was released last summer and received an “excellent” review from PCMag for its screen quality, design updates, good performance and access to the Amazon ecosystem.
The Amazon eero Max 7 mesh Wi-Fi router kit starts at $450.
If you’re frustrated with the Wi-Fi situation and are looking for the best technology available right now, consider the Amazon Eero Max 7 Mesh Wi-Fi Router, starting at $449.99 (originally $599.99). A three-pack with router and two points costs $1,299.99 (originally $1,699.99). Blink and Ring cameras are up to 62% off.
Blink and Ring are owned by Amazon, so of course they have huge discounts right now. The Blink Mini 2 just came out this year and is a camera for both indoor and outdoor use. You can get it now for just $19.99 (originally $39.99). If you know you’ll only use the cameras outdoors, get the Blink Outdoor 4 . The three-pack is currently 62% off, bringing it down to $99.99 (originally $259.99), which is the regular price for a single pack. If you prefer 24/7 professional monitoring from emergency police or fire departments on speed dial, the Ring Alarm 14-Piece Set for $197.99 (originally $329.99) is a better option. It has motion sensors, contact sensors, and a range extender if your home is large and you need help with range and network coverage.
