Yaber K2s is a modern, practical projector designed for smartphones and streaming applications such as Netflix. I’ve had the Yaber K2s projector for a few months now and I’ve been surprised at how easy it is to set up and use. It has an autofocus feature that finds the best focus depending on the distance from the screen, meaning you won’t have to fiddle with the lens at all. The operating system is Android TV, which feels similar to a Roku TV. You have access to the Android app store with over 9,000 apps including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, HBO Max and more. You can also easily connect any NFC device, such as a phone, to stream media to the projector.
The K2s has a 1920 by 1080 resolution with support for 4K output for eligible media (like Netflix if you have a premium subscription plan). The brightness is not the best, 800 ANSI, so it is better suited for night time or low light environments. If you don’t plan on using it for a lot of people outdoors, two 10W JBL speakers are enough for most activities. The 2000:1 image contrast is impressive—I had no trouble seeing shadows and dark images in scenes—but the image is a little bluer than usual, so if you’re a stickler for accurate colors, be careful.
