Best Chromebook Deals for October Prime Day
Chromebooks are already pretty cheap compared to Windows laptops , but you can usually get even more discounts during sales like Amazon Prime Day in October. You’ll find a hefty 10 to 20% discount on popular Chromebooks here, and considering how cheap Chromebooks are, that’s a significant saving. While there aren’t a lot of deals this Prime Day, here are six of my favorite Chromebook deals I’ve found so far:
Asus S424
The Asus C424 is down to just $200 from $250. Along with it, you get a 14-inch display, a dual-core Celeron processor, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Not bad for $200.
Chromebook HP 14
The HP Chromebook 14 is HP’s budget Chromebook that’s also available for $199 this Prime Day. The highlight is that you get the new Intel N100 chip, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in a lightweight package. Not to mention, this piece looks exquisite. At just $200, it’s not a bad deal.
Asus Chromebook Plus CX34
Chromebook Plus is Google’s attempt to integrate Gemini AI with Chromebooks . With the Chromebook Plus CX34 from Asus, you get a 14-inch Full HD screen, an Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. You also get exclusive Google AI features like Magic Eraser, as well as noise reduction and lighting correction for video calls—features typically found on the best Pixel devices. This Chromebook has dropped from $440 to $409.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i
The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is a great full-size laptop. It features a 15.6-inch Full HD display, an Intel Celeron N4500 processor, 8GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This is a great choice for those who want a larger screen but don’t want to compromise on screen quality.
Acer Chromebook 516 GE
Yes, there is such a thing as gaming Chromebooks —they’re just for cloud gaming. The Acer Chromebook 516 GE features a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 120Hz IPS display, an Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It is powerful enough to support cloud gaming applications and is specifically tuned for NVIDIA GeForce NOW . This Chromebook usually sells for $599, but the price has now dropped to $509.
Acer Spin 514 Chromebook
The Acer Spin series is known for its rotating display and portability. If you’re willing to spend more than $300, you’ll get a machine with a Ryzen 3 processor, which is much better than the Intel Celeron models. Some may be disappointed that it features a 14-inch Full HD display rather than a 15.6-inch one. The package includes a backlit keyboard, a 64GB SSD, a case and a mouse. The price of the Acer Chromebook Spin 514 has dropped from $349 to $313.
