What’s New in Prime Video and Freevee in September 2024

Prime Video has some notable films coming to the service in September, but they can’t compare to the August release of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season two. “Money Game” (Sept. 6) is a six-part docuseries that explores the impact of NIL (name, image and likeness) on LSU athletes, including Olivia Dunn, Angel Reese and Jayden Daniels.

The Grand Tour: One for the Road (September 13) sees Top Gear trio Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May embark on their latest adventure in Zimbabwe. Coming later this month is the miniseries A Very Royal Scandal (September 19), a dramatic retelling of the career of British journalist Emily Maitlis (played by Ruth Wilson) leading up to her 2019 interview with Prince Andrew (played by Michael Sheen). ). The series is similar to Netflix’s Scoop and Amazon’s A Very English Scandal and A Very British Scandal .

Prime Video will also stream Thursday Night Football, as well as WNBA and NWSL games throughout the month.
